It for Christ
The Eye
of the Storm
These are clearly the last days that we’re
living in; death, disasters, poverty, and sin running rampant as well as
personal trials and tribulations. These whirlwinds of chaos and
troubled times are happening all across the world, but remember the Lord
said, “We are in this world not of it.” With a tornado, there is what
is called the eye, and it’s in the center of the tornado. In this part
of the tornado, it is very quiet and peaceful even though havoc is
happening all around. Jesus said in John
14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give
to you: not
as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.” No matter what you may be facing, you can
have total peace in the
storm and through the storm. Jesus’ peace is not temporary; it
does not fluctuate like the world’s peace; it is strong and eternal like
His love and help. This you can depend on, lean on, and hold on to.
Remember they that call on the name of the lord SHALL be
saved; always look to Jesus where your help, peace and strength comes
from.
Reflection
Scripture: John 14:27 says, “Peace
I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world giveth, give
I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
